Thursday

We had a nice day with varied conditions: overcast, sunny, windy, calm, snow showers. Despite of all these factors it actually turned out to be a really nice day, especially skiing towards the mountains.

Windy night and morning

Good morning, 7 AM: -5.7 Celsius, moderate breeze from N, limited visibility, windy. We had about 6cm of fresh snow in last 24hrs, which was more than it was forecasted. Let's enjoy this challenging day!

The change is here

It seems like we are heading into a few days of wind and snow feast. It has started this morning with light snowfall and a bit warmer temperatures: -3 Celsius. Many trails were prepared this morning, but if I look out of my window I think it will all be covered in minutes.

New week

Good morning, 7AM: -8 Celsius, light air from S-SW, good visibility, overcast. All trails were prepared last weekend (including Trolloypa towards Masaplasen - to Hirisjoa), Eldabu- Indre Uksan and Brennflya-Grahogdbu sections were marked too. The weather started changing yesterday and it seems like it will be like this for a few days, which means - wind, snow, changing visibility. Lets enjoy our new week and challenges.

Busy weekend

Good morning! 7 AM: -13.5 Celsius, light breeze, almost clear sky- few clouds around, great visibility. Almost all trails have been cut yesterday!

Friday

Good morning. 7AM: -10.9 Celsius, light air, overcast, good visibility. We had some snow fallen overnight - about 1cm. We are looking ahead of a busy weekend and week, because half term visitors are coming.
8PM update: Great day out - turned out to be a sunny one! Nice trip on Svartfjellet - with some off-piste exercises.

Foggy and windy

It has been foggy, windy, -10 Celsius here since this morning and as it seems - it will not change for awhile. Hopefully tomorrow brings some change.

Another day out

What a day! Sunny and clear sky all day long - amazing sunrise and sunset colours. We went up Veslefjellet to see the views, which were stunning - Jotunheimen, Rondane and the whole Venabygdsfjellet in clear view. Great mix day of snowshoeing and skiing. I hope the forecast is wrong, so we will not have too cloudy and snowy day tomorrow.
