Winter is on it's way?

Finally, we've got some snow!!! Not much, but enough to make the landscape look like it's winter.

Thursday 5 November 2015

November

Not much snow yet, but we have had some really nice (and rather warm) days.
Beautiful light conditions this time of year.

Wednesday 9 September 2015

September

A really, really beautiful week! Nice and warm, almost like summer. Still possible to go for a swim (cold though!!). The only thing that shows that autumn is on its way, is the colors.

Monday 24 August 2015

Last day of summer??

We had a nice, warm summer day in the Sollia area today. The weatherforecast says colder from now on. If it was the last day of summer, at least we enjoyed it!!!

Sunday 23 August 2015

August

After a cold July, we have now had some nice, warm and beautiful days in August.
Some photos from an outdoor lunch we arranged for a group of German journalists.

Summer is late

Summer is late this year. We're still waiting for the trees to get their leaves and I heard someone went skiing in the area behind Muen yesterday!!

We enjoy some sunny days and the beautiful scenery with snow on the peaks.

Monday 1 June 2015

Winter or spring?

We have just finished a cold May with average tempereture 2.2 degrees colder than normal. Fresh snow in the mountains this morning. There is not much snow left in the lower areas of Venabygdsfjellet, but in general, there are more snow now, than what it was at Easter, in mountain areas higher than 1200 m.
Now we hope for a warmer June!!

Spring

Spring is here. Snow is melting, although we had fresh snow an a rather cold celebration on our National day, 17th of May.

For those that haven't yet seen that we were on the news in April, here is the link:

(It is in Norvegian, but it is about how we work with cross country, instead of alpine skiing)

And one more winter photo; this is from one of my last days of skiing this season, taken at the west side of Gudbrandsdalen, towards Rondane, in the end of April.
