Mini skisafari Indre Uksan

Beautiful morning and great skiing conditions. One group skied around Veslefjell and to the canyon. Another one did a longer tour towards Venåsen, around Storfjell and then back by Indre Uksan. Warmer and more cloudy during the day.

Good conditions in the tracks that were made this morning. We skied to Fremre Uksan and then off track to Brennflya. Nice as it warmed up a little bit.

Even more wind

Another windy day with changing conditions. We had two skisafaris today, a shorter one in the area around Veslefjell and the canyon, and a longer towards Venåsen (in the north-wests parts of Venabygdsfjellet) and back around Indre Uksan and over to Brennflya. Really windy from NW (7-9 m/sec). Really hard to ski towards the wind, easy and great fun when it came from behind.

Another quite windy day, but less than yesterday. Great safari conditions! One group skied up to Gråhøgdbu and down by the canyon, the other group around Veslbøllia and Veslefjell.

Skisafari to Måsåplassen

We had the most fantastic ski safaris, two Måsåplassen today. It was really windy and skiing was not too tiring, as the wind came from the north!!

We had a fantastic ski safari day in the most challenging conditions - fog, wind, sunshine, warm weather, klister, ice and more wind - we have had for the whole season in Svabudalen area and skiing back to Venabygdsfjellet.
