Some snow and fog

We have had some really nice monochrome days with beautiful lights and snow conditions.
We are expecting some milder weather and wind moving in.

Back in the cold conditions

7AM: -14 Celsius, clear and lovely.
After a few days of mild conditions and some precipitation we are back in the colder temperatures.
Great snow and trails. Snow depth is around 60-70cm and almost all our trails have been prepared.

Our guided programs have started on Venabygdsfjellet and we have been enjoying all the on and off piste adventures.

Winter season 2019/2020

We are sure that many of you are thinking about the winter season. We also look forward to another fantastic season.
It looks like many of you are coming back so please remember to plan and book in advance as some of our weeks are already fully booked.

Summer to Autumn

We have had a fantastic summer season on Venabygdsfjellet this year. Not as warm and sunny as last year,but still just as wonderful.
Now we are on the doorstep of our short Autumn season.
This week we are enjoying our 3 National Park hiking program in Rondane, Dovrefjell and Jotunheimen National Parks.

Venabygdsfjellet is just a stone's throw away from Rondane National Park, which is actually the oldest national park in Norway.
The beautiful alpine setting offers unlimited space for discovery.
Sometimes our hikes and tours explore the beauty of this wonderful landscape.
