Good morning - 7AM: -7.8 Celsius, calm, good visibility, partly cloudy and it is looking great.

Evening update: It was a nice day with fairly limited visibility and mild conditions. It is getting colder now, so hopefully tomorrow morning we will be back to real winter temperatures and conditions.

Mild morning

Good morning! 7AM: -0.2 Celsius, local fog, limited visibility, some wind. It has been snowing for last 6 days - not a huge amount, but little by little the snow-depth is increasing. According to weather forecast we are going to have mild weather for about 24-36 hours before it starts getting colder again. We could call it a consolidation period. We are also expecting some wind and precipitation today.
Evening update: It has been a mild day, temperatures between -1 Celsius and +1 Celsius and some snow and sleet throughout the day. We ended up using universal klister, which turned out to be the best choice.
At the moment the snow is fairly wet and it will possibly freeze overnight. We are looking forward to colder temperatures and some fresh snow on top of this great solid base.

-1 Celsius and difficult to wax the skis. -2 Celsius after lunch, that was enough to make perfect conditions.

The first few days of January 2014:

The first few days of January 2014: -2 to -3 Celsius, snow, some wind. Snow on the trees, almost winterwonderland. Good conditions for skiing.

Happy new year, everybody!
We have had a Christmas with av bit of everything; sun, snow, wind, low and high temperatures (from -14 to +1). Most of the time the snowconditions have been good, and we have got lots of fresh snow, but some days with temperatures around zero, has made waxing difficult. We hope for temperatures below zero in January!

Finally

Finally, we can give you some good news. It has been snowing a little bit every day now, and it the skiingconditions is getting better. It's nice and white both up in the mountains and down in the valley. I think everybody, young and old, appreciate it!

Now it's beautiful ski conditions at Venabu. Saturday it was sun shine and exellent. We had 100 people in the hotel for skiing. Not much snow, but still good conditions. Today (Sunday) it's snowing and colder weather. We look forward to Christmas and hope to see you here this winter. Warm regards from Line
