Monday - Northern Lights

8AM: +0.1 Celsius, gentle breeze from S-SE, good visibility. After a mild day we had an amazing evening with a full show of Northern Lights.

Mild weather

7AM: +2.5 Celsius, gentle breeze from S, low visibility.

Saturday

7AM: Beautiful morning and sunrise, -2.6 Celsius, light breeze from E-SE, great visibility.
Snow condition: We have about 30cm of snow, giving a nice white colour to the whole landscape.
Trail conditions: Most of the southern  and central trails including Kyrkjegardsfjell, Trabeliafjell and to Jonnhalt and Spitsbergseter were prepared yesterday. Northern trails have not been driven due to the low snow depth although it is always possible to enjoy off piste skiing.

Friday

7AM: -1.7 Celsius, local fog, low visibility, and about 2mm of precipitation in last 36 hours.

Winter season

It seems like we are getting ready for another wonderful winter season at Venabygsfjellet. I hope you are just as excited as we are.

Winter is on it's way?

Finally, we've got some snow!!! Not much, but enough to make the landscape look like it's winter.

November

Not much snow yet, but we have had some really nice (and rather warm) days.
Beautiful light conditions this time of year.

The first snow is here, at least 1 mm!
