Last day of summer??

We had a nice, warm summer day in the Sollia area today. The weatherforecast says colder from now on. If it was the last day of summer, at least we enjoyed it!!!

August

After a cold July, we have now had some nice, warm and beautiful days in August.

Summer is here

Summer is here and we had the first guided tour today.

Summer is late

Summer is late this year. We're still waiting for the trees to get their leaves and I heard someone went skiing in the area behind Muen yesterday!!

We enjoy some sunny days and the beautiful scenery with snow on the peaks.

Winter or spring?

We have just finished a cold May with average tempereture 2.2 degrees colder than normal. Fresh snow in the mountains this morning. There is not much snow left in the lower areas of Venabygdsfjellet, but in general, there are more snow now, than what it was at Easter, in mountain areas higher than 1200 m.
Now we hope for a warmer June!!

Spring

Spring is here. Snow is melting, although we had fresh snow an a rather cold celebration on our National day, 17th of May.

(It is in Norvegian, but it is about how we work with cross country, instead of alpine skiing)

Great winter season

8AM: -2,2 Celsius, light air from SW, partly cloudy, great visibility.
Skitour in the northern parts of Venabygdsfjellet and back by Brennflya. Great conditions for skiing out of the tracks.

Veslefjell

Another beautiful day! Easter conditions; a bit icy in the morning, then nice and soft. Skiing in the Veslefjell area.
