Weather update

Winter is now here to stay.
Last 24 hours we got 9 cm snow, and temperatures between -5 and -1, so it is quite clear that the grass will not be seen until beginning of May 2010.

Robert is also back from his stay in the US so now we are both able to update when when something is happening.

Any chance for early xc-tracks at venabygdsfjellet any time soon?

Hi Knut,
At the moment we do not have enough depth to start cutting trails. During the last days it has been milder, so we are loosing some snow. Also most of our trails are crossing water sources and boggy, bushy areas which need more cover, but we will consider cutting once we have better conditions.

OK. I am planning a cabbin-trip at the last half of next week. With skis :) With a little luck maby I can skate the "flaksjøvegen".

We might get a few more centimeters of snow by the end of this week (not a promise) and the nights are cold enough, so you have a chance. Bring your trainers too, so you can put some strength training in. See you around - we might end up training on the same patch :)

Cool! I'll never go anywhere without my trainers ;) Looking forward to long sessions and hard intervalls! Have you tried intervalls in the ski lift path at spitsbergseter. I have - PUH! (A bit to steep for me..) But Svartfjellet and Svarthammarn are favorites. Good long climbs - thats what I like :-) See you around?!
