Summer

Summer! Really nice and warm, more than 20 Celsius for several days.
It's beautiful; blue sky, green leaves and still some white snow!!

Springtime

Venabu today: a bit grey, but definitely spring. Only +6 Celsius at 1 pm today, but they forecast a lot warmer the next few days.

Last ski tour at Venabygdsfjellet this season

Still quite good conditions, but a bit too windy to ski very long.

End of season

This is the last day of the season! The hotel will still be busy, but not with ordinary groups, so no more guiding for Robert, Ingrid and me. We wish you all a nice summer, and hope to see you again next winter! A few photos from the last four months:

Friday

7AM: -5,8Celsius, light air from N-NV, partly cloudy, great visibility.

Afternoon update: Beautiful skiing today. One group went on the Trolløype to Måsåplassen, we also had a shorter tour in the area between Brennflya and Muen, in the open area. Again we have been very lucky with the weather, cloudy to the west/south-west, but sunny where we have been skiing!

Thursday, afternoon update

We're definitely getting closer to spring. It's getting really warm in the afternoons (+7C when we got back today). The skiing conditions are still good, though. We had a great skitour on klister, first towards the north, then turning east around Bøllia and down to the canyon. Cloudy all around, but rather sunny where we went!
