We are sure that many of you are thinking about the winter season. We also look forward to another fantastic season.
It looks like many of you are coming back so please remember to plan and book in advance as some of our weeks are already fully booked.

Summer to Autumn

We have had a fantastic summer season on Venabygdsfjellet this year. Not as warm and sunny as last year,but still just as wonderful.
Now we are on the doorstep of our short Autumn season.
This week we are enjoying our 3 National Park hiking program in Rondane, Dovrefjell and Jotunheimen National Parks.

Venabygdsfjellet is just a stone's throw away from Rondane National Park, which is actually the oldest national park in Norway.
The beautiful alpine setting offers unlimited space for discovery.
Sometimes our hikes and tours explore the beauty of this wonderful landscape.

Change of colour and season - maybe not yet

After lots of warm and beautiful days now a little bit of winter weather came back with some fresh snow and cold temperatures.

Mindfulness in the Mountains
Rest and explore, discover the transformative power of mindfulness in the mountains. Mountain mindfulness gives us time and space. It offers a chance to attend to the wild interconnection that defines us the opportunity to really live in the moment without distraction. On this retreat-style holiday the main activity will be walking in the beautiful mountains surrounding our base at Venabu Fjellhotell. We combine walking with mindfulness practices indoors and outside.
