Friday - testing snow condition

7AM: -16 Celsius, light breeze from N, clear. It looks like a nice cold day.

Lovely tour out to the Northern part of Venabygdsfjellet and to top of Svarthammern - checking snow and trail conditions. Unfortunately there has been no trail preparation around the north since New Year, so I can not really write much about tracks. The snow was fairly packed (after a some wind we had) even icy and hard many places - especially on southern slopes - northern sides were much different and more enjoyable for off piste skiing, but rather cold. Great tour and views.
